Operator Licensing

Operators
All private hire operators in London must be licensed. Licensing means Londoners and visitors alike know they are dealing with an honest, professional organisation with reliable drivers and safe vehicles.
Even if you are a licensed driver and are setting up business as an individual you must get an operator`s licence. Anyone taking bookings or supplying drivers for hire and receiving payment for their services while not holding an operator`s licence are breaking the law and may be prosecuted.
