To support and provide representation for the chauffeur industry in the UK- To assist its individual members to improve the professionalism of the services they provide to their customers.
- To assist its company members with their interactions with their customers, regulatory bodies and government agencies.
- To support the flow of information from professional drivers, car manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Such information may assist in improving and be of value for product and service development.
Core Programmes at the Institute
- Professionalism - Supporting standards in the recruitment and training of professional drivers and chauffeurs.
- Influencing Government - Guiding decisions being made at a local, regional, national, and EU level, which may affect professional drivers and chauffeurs.
- Representation - Supporting a positive perception of professional drivers and chauffeurs to the public via the media.
- Membership - Achieving a range of specially negotiated benefits for Institute Members.
